I absolutely LOVE Dr. Dilena. He shares a practice with Dr. Nadel and Dr. Lopresti. They are in Garden City and are affiliated with Winthrop. I can guarantee if you meet him, you will love him! I like the other drs. as well, but he is my favorite!

i heard he is awesome but wasnt crazy about winthrop last time so was looking for drs in south nassau hospital. thanks though!

Ooops. I didn't realize you meant South Nassau Hospital - I just thought you meant South Nassau. I remembered you were in Massapequa, right? I know you answered some of my other posts. I didn't love Withrop either, and I probably wouldn't go back if I were having another...unless it was with Dr. Dilena

I go to Horizon OB/GYN . Its a few blocks from the hospital and they deliver there. Its 2 drs one male and one female I loved them!! I moved to this group when I was 37 weeks pregnant was with another group had some major problems and they missed may BIG things so I switched to this group and was scared because it was so late in my pregnancy. They all made me feel great!!!! I had the best experiance. I cant wait for #2 with them.

Dr.Tomlinson and Dr. Wu
I go there too. I am not happy with them.. Dr. Tomlinson (the guy) has poor bedside manner and is a bit rough and Dr OH (the woman), my primary OB, didn't listen to me when I told her something was wrong during my pregnancy. Thankfully neither one of them delivered my son... When I move, I am dropping them. The office staff are the best... I think that is why I stayed... Another friend of mine also had problems with Dr. Tomlinson. And he is known to ban anybody, including the father to be from the delivery room.. Dr Dean, the head of OB at SNCH delivered DS and was awesome. I am switching to his group in Garden City when we move...

Just wanted to say my friend worked at South Nassau and said the OBGYN floor was amazing... She said it looked so nice and cleanly and newly renovated!
And... I had my DD at Winthrop and LOVED THEM... so I guess its different for everyone...
But I just wanted to let you know about South Nassau!

I guess we all have different experiences! Both my pregnancies had issues, and both docs listened to all my concerns. I've had each doc deliver me with no problems. Yes, their styles are different, but I was comfortable with both of them. I will definitely be using them again when/if we TTC #3. Love their office staff too.

I have been going to Obstetrical and Gyn svcs of RVC and I know they deliver at S. Nassau as well as Winthrop or Mercy.
