Eden resorts or homewood suites for PA trip?
so we will be taking the kids to DW next month and are trying to decide on a hotel. We are b/t Eden resorts and homewood suites. Pretty much price wise they are coming to the same. The main differences are Eden has the amazing outdoor/rec area but the room is standard. So pretty much once the kids go to bed me and my DH have to be quiet so we don't wake them. The homewood suites has a small indoor pool but is an efficiency and has a seperate sleeping area, so we can hang out in the liviing room after the kids go to bed. I am sort of leaning toward homewood suites as the kids go to bed early. But it is a tough decision as both got good reviews. Any experiences with either is appreciated.

We are doing the same next month. We opted for Eden. We got the 2 bedroom King studio Villa. It has a small separate room with bunk beds. My kids are 4 and 2. We worried about the same thing as you---not wanting to have to go to bed at 8:00.

I wanted to do Eden when we went but they didn't have availability for when we wanted to go. We stayed at Homewood Suites and overall were very happy. The room is great. We actually got adjoining rooms with friends So we put the kiddies to bed and hang out which was nice. The kitchenette was fabulous (dishwasher, full fridge, microwave, coffee maker, real dishes, silverware, etc.) The free breakfast was also great!

Re: Eden resorts or homewood suites for PA trip?
We stayed at the Homewood Suites Last Year and this year we opted for Eden. We LOVED THE homewood Suites...best bed I EVER. Slept in...very clean....free huge breakfest and mini dinner m_ thru t. The indoor pool was ick in my opinion....too much chlorine. Great location.
This year we priced it out....it was actualy like $6 cheaper a night at Eden for a one bedroom king suite...with a seperate bedroom and living area. We wanted the outdoor kid areas this time around.
I don't think you'll be dissapointed at either placeeven though we haven't been to Eden yet. They have bedroom suite options. Even the two bedroom villa at Eden was the same price per night as the suite at Homewood.

I really think it depends on what you are going to do when you are there and your kids. If you do not plan to use the outdoor polo during the day and do other things then maybe the Homewood would be fine. If you want to hang out at the pool then I would go to Eden.
We went to Eden a couple of weeks ago and loved it. We stayed in a standard room, but we utilized the outdoor pool a lot. The pool is great and you could get lunch, dinner and drinks served to you right by the pool. I loved the whole resort feel of it. We didn't get back to the hotel until late each night so our kids passed out right away and we did soon after. Also, once our kids fall asleep we do not have to be very quiet. We could watch TV, talk and hang out.
