Foot Pain
For the past few days my feet are absolutely killing me - pretty much right on the balls of my feet - when I walk. I feel like it's way to early for my feet to be hurting me (I'm 20 weeks). Anybody else? Is there any relief??

Re: Foot Pain
sorry you are in pain! I don't know what else you can do besides just keeping your feet up as much as possible and making DH give you foot massages
feel better!

Re: Foot Pain
i have foot issues from years of dance and running.. i have a mild case tendonitis starting at the ball of my foot to the arch.. anyway.. as you put on more weight, it puts more pressure on your foot especially the ball..
all i read was.. put ure feet up, flat and comfy shoes...be careful when you massage it.. you don't want to inflame the tendons (if it is that) or mess it up more.. but the massage really, really helps..

Re: Foot Pain
It's not too early to start feeling pain. Even if you haven't gained weight you do have extra weight you are carrying around. Other than massaging your feet and staying off them you can see if your dr. can teach you foot stretches. I know when I had plaantar faciatis the stretches helped. Also, if it gets too bad tyleenol..it's about the only thing we can take.

Re: Foot Pain
not too early. i've been having foot pain for the past few months, like just overall ACHING feet. even when i get up to pee in the middle of the night. I've been sleeping with my feet elevated the past few nights and it seems to be helping a little.
i'm about 45lbs over my ideal weight at this point (i was carrying a little "holiday weight" when i got pg) and I have to imagine the foot pain is just par for the course. my poor body.

Re: Foot Pain
My toes right next to my big toes (index toes?) were KILLING me every time I walked. I have three pairs of flip flops that I've been rotating out. Two hurt my feet. The third pair has been like a DREAM. Absolutely night and day. I was able to walk around Port Jeff over the weekend with minimal pain. Try to switch out your shoes and see if that helps!

Re: Foot Pain
Thanks, ladies. I've done everything but keep my feet elevated, which I will try tonight. And, I'll use this as an excuse to buy some new shoes

That's exactly what I'm talking about. They hurt as soon as I get out of bed, even after a good night's sleep. And, I too had some extra weight I was carrying around to begin with, coupled with the fact that I ate nothing but carbs for about 6 weeks, which I imagine is just not helping.

definitely play around with different types of shoes. flip flops KILL my feet, but low (1-1/2 to 2 inch heel) slip ons seem to help a bit.
