Re: For those that are really nauseous
Every day the things that I can and cannot eat change. So whatever I don't hate that day, ill eat. And I always snack and have something in my belly. Fruit I tolerate very well and enjoy. I eat soups, sandwiches, pizza, salads, pasta.
Feel better

Re: For those that are really nauseous
I ate lots and lots of carbs - bagels, saltines, whole grain white bread, cheerios (plain) etc. I tried to add as much protein as I could, but it was so hard for me to stomach. Maybe a little cheese or peanut butter. The only real foods I ate were pizza and occassionally a burger. Oh, and lots of fruit. And I tried to drink V8 fusion, just to get some more nutrients from fruits and veggies, since I couldn't stomach any veggies.

Have you tried watermelon? It was my savior this pregnancy (I wish i knew about it for the others!) And now it's in season..when I had m/s in Jan and Feb, it was $5 for a cup or two.

Re: For those that are really nauseous
I have been having a hard time eating. I have zero appetite. Bagels, white cheddar popcorn and pretzels is what I've been eating. I lost 5lbs already :( Anything that resembles a meal I've gotten sick from except pizza.

Re: For those that are really nauseous
the nausea really hit me this week and i can't let my stomach go empty or be too full. it also gives me headaches!! i've been trying to survive on fruit (amazingly i can take that), hardboiled eggs, bagels, rice and soupy stuff. but sometimes what i can eat changes too. it's the most frustrating thing in the world because i love to eat!

I was talking to the nurse at my Dr. ofice and she siad that carbs help with nausea. All I was eating for a while was spaghetti.

Re: For those that are really nauseous
carbs, mostly. I noticed my evening nausea was caused by gas so I made sure I belched When driving or at work, I chew a piece of peppermint gum and that helps too. I also carry a bag of ginger candy for when it gets really bad. I too have lost 6lbs already.

Re: For those that are really nauseous
I have been SO sick. Puking A LOT. Last night I finally gave in and tried Zofran, it did nothing but give me a huge headache I have been surviving on pretzels, peaches, watermelon, whole wheat english muffins, cheese sticks and cheerios.

Re: For those that are really nauseous
fruit, yogurt (try greek for extra protein). Anything refreshing seems to help. And bagels. I can at least eat during the day, but I tend to usually skip dinner and wait to fall asleep so the nausea goes away.
