I get 90 days and feel very liucky after reading what all of you get or actually don't get. It's AWFUL that we don't have any standard for this that companies myust abide by. It's only the most important thing a woman can do!

12 weeks paid
And then we have option to take 6/9/12 months off and to varying degrees our job will be held for us but week 13 and on is on your own dime.

Fully paid maternity leave. (10-12 wks)
But I work in a family business with my dad, so I'm lucky that he feels he should pay me while I'm home. Though I know he wants me back soon.

My company pays out ZERO!
I get 3 weeks paid vaca a year. Ill have 2 saved up at that time and after that I will go on short term disability which pays out at 70% of my salary.
The STD is something I pay into each month as part of my companies benefits package and not something given out by my state.
Same exact thing with me

6 weeks 100% for Vag, 8 weeks 100% for c-sec, then maternity leave is optional 40% of your salary - 1 week for each year that you have completed working with the company- then you can use vacation time. then they offer phase back- working 60% of the time, for 60% of your salary (3 days a week for a month for 60%).

I get 10 weeks paid, and can take an additional 2 weeks unpaid and then extend it with my personal and vacation days.

i teach in nyc and we have to use our accumulated sick and personal days. we get up to 6 weeks natural, 8 weeks for csection. if you dont have the days, you can borrow them and then pay them back after you return. after that is unpaid. we can take a total of 12 weeks.
NYC teacher here too... I keep saying it'd be nice if it doubled to 12 wks/16 wks since we're having twins

We get 6 weeks paid for natural, 8 weeks for a c-section and then up to 1 year unpaid. I have vaca time I have been saving to use at the end of the year, but then I will take some unpaid time.

I get 2 weeks before paid and 12 weeks after baby paid. With option of additional 3 months unpaid after (so can be off total 6 mnths)

I get 6 weeks paid if vaginal 8 weeks if csection. With my dd I took 12 weeks usually the extra 6 weeks is unpaid but i accrued so many sick days they took my time from there I was so happy!!

At my old job which was horrible to me I got 12 weeks paid leave (10 wks maternity leave, 2 weeks parental bonding). HOwever when i found out I was pregnant with DS#2 I creaid at the thought of having to be pregnanct and continue to work there.
At this place I don't qualify for any leave since I haven't been here 1 year. So basically I'll be taking NYS disability along with vacation time. Because it'll largely be unpaid I'll probably work excluively from home starting at around 8weeks pp. This place is awesome though and they are willing to work with me.

We have to use a week of our time and then we get 5 or 7 weeks paid disability depending on vag or c-section (although my friend told me now it's 5 weeks paid disability regardless).
After that, we can use our own time or take it unpaid up until whenever we have arranged to come back with our manager (technically it's 12 weeks but, many people extend their leave to 6 mos depending on their mgr).
I was able to get 11 1/2 weeks paid when DS was born based on vacation carryover and banked sick but, I didn't accrue vaca while I was out and drained all of my banked sick so if I have another baby, I'd probably only get 8 weeks paid in total.

12 weeks unpaid. I am going to try for disability, but not sure I'll qualify based on when I signed up..
This is what I had...wasn't enough for me to go back so I ended up becoming a SAHM

Our maternity leave in this country STINKS! In Europe you get 9 months to a year PAID :(
I'm a NYC teacher. We get 6 weeks paid for vaginal birth and 8 weeks for c-section.
That's why European countries are defualting left and right!!
If anyone here is actually getting paid maternity leave - no matter what the amount- thank your lucky stars! In my world, you get paid only for the hours worked. I don't consider myself entitled to paid maternity leave or vacations.
