Need men's polo shirt help!
I need to get some new regular Polo shirts for my DH. He wears those and Dockers to work.
Can anyone recommend some brands/places to get some that DO NOT shrink short and get wide? Seriously, all of the one's we have fit perfectly until we wash them and they get very short and wide?
He's a tall guy so we need them long. Not too expensive. I've been buying him the "golf" breathable type one's at Kohl's but he now doesn't like them because they constantly get pulls on them.
Thanks!

Re: Need men's polo shirt help!
Do you dry them in the dryer? if so i would just hang dry them on a rack...that used to happen to my DHs shirts and I stopped drying them in the dryer and haven't had a problem since.

We have had the most luck with the Kirkland Polo shirts they sell at Costco.

Re: Need men's polo shirt help!
There is a store in the Deer Park outlets that has a ton of them, and usually for 75% off--I can't think of the name!!
But I agree with PP, as long as you don't put them in the dryer, they will last much longer. I find they dry very quickly.

Re: Need men's polo shirt help!
We do put them in the dryer because I just don't have the room/time to hang dry them. I tried doing that a long time ago and then the other problem I had was that I had to iron them and I definitely don't have time for that. Nowadays, the dryer is my iron!

I just saw some in the L.L. Bean catalog, but I don't have any experience with them. DH likes the ones from Old Navy.

What about drying them sperate on a lower setting, sometimes that helps with shrinkage. I dry everything and hate ironing so I know how you feel.

What about getting some from the tall man shop and then when they shrink they won't be too short.

Re: Need men's polo shirt help!
I've gotten them for DH from lands end - XXL, tall ... dry them alone, on low ... sometimes takes forever and they get hung up still a little damp but it's better than replacing them every 6 months ...

Re: Need men's polo shirt help!
We get them for DH at Eddie Bauer because he has the same problem. He's 6'2" and they have tall length. You can get them for a good price at the outlet or when there is a sale. We basically get most of his shirts there now to get the tall length.

Re: Need men's polo shirt help!
DH won't spend money on "weekend" shirts. ( he wears dress shirts to work) He has a bunch form JC Penney- St. John's Bay brand that really held up. He bought them for our honeymoon as still has them 7 years later & they are in good shape. We dry them.
He is just under 6 feet & thin. He had to go down a size from his regular size & they are long enough for him.
The ones we got from Kohl's didn't hold up well.
