I registered at both.
I actually prefer Buy Buy Baby...I liked their selection better and I feel like their staff are a lot more knowledgeable and helpful. However, there are fewer locations which is why I also did Babies R us.

i'm doing both. buy buy baby has more of a selection of in-stock merchandise. bru has a few items that BBB doesn't.

I did BBB for my first. I just like the store much much more and they had everything I wanted. Also pretty much all of my guests had a BBB close to them so it worked out. If I had guests that couldnt easily get to one, I would probably have rethought my choice.

We registered at both plus on Amazon. We weren't going to register at BBB because there weren't any near us but we were out visiting DH's parents one day and they live near the Garden City store. We LOVED the store, so we wound up registering there too. Most of our stuff was on our Babies R Us registry.

I did BBB because their return policy is better. I just hate that I don't have one closer to me!

I registered at BRU and a small registry on Amazon for the things that BRU didn't have. The only reason I registered there was because the closest BBB is about a 1/2 drive at least from where I and most of my guest list live.

I registered at both but only did very few things at BRU. All of the big stuff has been bought off my registry except the pump but not a lot of the little stuff has been (there's a lot of a little stuff). My shower is Saturday so I feel like a lot of people either bought clothes or shopped outside of the registry which is fine. I guess I will see Saturday. If it pans out the way I think it will I would have put a lot more on BRU. I just had a better feeling with BBB though and they had better selections in the store.

I did BBB because I like the store much better. It is a bit of a hike for most of my family but...
I equate it to Home Depot and Lowes. You go into Home Depot and it's dirty, unorganized and nobody is there to help you. Lowes has 500 people walking around that know about everything and everything is in its place. BBB is just so much more pleasant an experience.

with my first i only registered at bbb - it worked out great - i got all my big items and more than i needed- so i had a credit there for a long time because it was so easy to return things
also almost everything was cheaper at BBB then at babies r us even before you used a bed bath beyond coupon
i was very happy with BBB -

I did both.. I definitely think that's the way to go.. it's more convenient for guests and that way you can get a variety of items.. BBB has some stuff BRU doesn't.. and the other way around

Agreed. Plus, BRU has a rewards program and we've already received quite a few rewards coupons that saved us $ when picking up other items we didn't receive at the shower.
I'd also think about Amazon if there are things you would like that aren't available at either store. A friend used Amazon and I thought the universal registry option was great.

I did BRU and Amazon.com.. BBB is expensive IMO... I had no problems returning stuff to BRU.. Surprise, surprise!!!

I did both. I put more things on BRU. People bought more things off BRU than BBB probably because BRU is easier for people (especially people not on LI) to get to and has more locations.

I registered at BBB.
I like the layout of BBB better and they had some more things that I liked. The only negative of BBB is there are more locations of BRU...but I figured people could order online or get me something off the registry.
I just wanted everything from one place...one registry.
I prefer BBB. Go into both and see which you like better.
I also heard BBB has better return policy than BRU.
