Girls who helped throw their shower...
Hey ladies!
My shower is this weekend and I have been helping my mom along the whole time. Im not into the whole surprise thing (she got me at my bridal shower).
I was wondering did you help set up...and then go home to re-show up when guests arrive....
or
were you there when the guests arrive?

I was involved in just about every aspect of my shower -- but I did not help set up.
Instead I took that time to get my hair & make up done and showed up a little bit after the guests arrived.

I went a little early, I helped set up the tables. My friends also arrived early and were a major major help!
I was there to greet my guests also!

I helped every step of the way except for the day of. I showed up as it was starting and left after it was over.

My shower is also this weekend! I dont plan on setting up, however, I do plan on going over early so I can greet my guests as they arrive. I want to make sure I will have time to spend with each person, since it is going to be such a hectic day!

I helped my MIL & SIL set up n greeted guests when they came. :)
I don't like all the attention on me at once, so for me greeting everyone personally as they showed up rather than a mob of ppl at once was muchhh better
So do what makes u comfortable!

I was like OMG...what do i do? Is there a protocol! HAHAHA.....
Great!!! Im gonna help set up...bc my parents and hubby r gonna need help (even thought my friends offered)
and Ill stay to greet at the door.....this was my first choice....but wasnt sure if anyone else had done it...
...What would I do without you!

I helped plan a little bit, but just asked and I will not be allowed to help set-up. They have some stuff that is still a surprise. I will arrive when the guests arrive.

my shower was at my MIL's and I didn't really help set up but helped plan. I was there when the guests arrived because i got there a little early.

My three SILs, mom, grandmother and MIL helped set up. I showed up early and greeted guests as they came in. I helped put the favors together a couple of days before the shower.

I was somewhat involved with my shower. Not completely though. ( i was ridiculously suprised at my bridal shower). I have my mom & 2 sisters & my MIL. So they only let me help out a bit. I didnt know about alot of things they had planned. I did not set up at all. I showed up a little before all of my guests arrived as i wanted to greet everyone who came in since it wasnt a suprise. My shower was in my MILs gorgeous yard with a huge beautifully decorated tent etc. So it was perfect. We did stay to help clean up afterward since my shiower started at 12:30 pm & ended at 7pm SERIOUSLY! lol SO MUCH FUN! Have a great day : )
