Boppy vs Brest Friend Pillow (spinoff)

A friend of mine has a blog and in it she wrote a review of the Boppy and the Brest Friend pillows. I figured I'd pass along her information because it was very helpful to me.

When she first started BFing her son wasn't level with her breasts so he was pulling on her and causing a lot of pain. When she got the Brest Friend pillow it was so much better for her. She likes it better because it's fuller than the Boppy and her son could lay higher when she held him.

I kept the Boppy on my registry because I've seen my sister use it to prop my niece up when playing. I added the Brest Friend for BFing.

i use the boppy for both.
it works great for BFing as well.

i found the brest friend pillow to be perfect. BFing successfully depends a lot on position though depending on which position you and the baby are in, either pillow could be effective.

I have both and have not used them yet, but heard good theings about them both.

I had a lot of issues BF DS and went to a lacation consultant who suggested the breast friend pillow. It worked MUCH better for me although I never did get going BF'ing. The boppy was great for propping up the little guy though and I would suggest getting both if you can manage.

I have both and found both useful. It kinda depended where I was sitting in the house as to which one was more comfortable to use. It was nice to have the smushiness of the boppy because DH could wedge it in places. I also like propping her up in the boppy now because she likes to look around and sit up more and its been useful for that.
