Sutton's - great for bfast and lunch. Located in Queensbury (just a little south of Great Escape)
Log Jam
George's
Boathouse
Lookout Cafe - great for lunch to just look out at the lake (ha)

THe Silo (also in Queensbury) -great breakfast and not as touristy as Suttons
Drive in movie theater!!! on Rte 9
Outlets are ok, nothing great.
If you're in to tubing and white water rafting, head over to the luzerne river, tons of fun.
Marthas Ice Cream is semi famous up there, got bought out by Great Escape, so I don't think its as great as it once was, but tons of ice cream choices :)

I second Sutton's. My favorite place for breakfast by far. I know a lot of people like the Lone Bull but I'm always under-whelmed by it.
For dinner I love Log Jam (Queensbury in the Outlets) and the Algonquin. Also Adirondack Brew Pub has pretty good food. Their beer is just "eh" though. Barnsider is good too.
Definately stop in the Adirondack Winery on Canada Street - great wine!
We havent done it yet but the cruises down by the water always look fun. They do lunch and dinner cruises, lake tours, and late night entertainment cruises. Cheap too.
Def do the Drive In! They play double features and it's so cute.
And there's always Great Escape
