The best piece of advice I ever got?
When you put the diaper on, point their little penis down 
Otherwise, the pee goes straight up and you will end up changing their little outfits 10x a day.  Fun if you want to raise a future fashion model, not so much fun for everyone else

Those are adorable but you'll be surprised how squirmy those little suckers are, mine was never able to keep one of those on

seriously!!! you learn to change those diapers fast!! i got the pee pee tee pee thingy jammy too and never used it. wait...actually i used it if i needed to take DS's temperature.
now at 20 months he found it and thought it was a hat.

the first thing I would do when changing a diaper (in the first few months) was put a wipe over the penis right away. I never got squirted...DH did - in the mouth!

Not for nothing, but my little GIRL pees all the time when getting changed!! I always thought it was just a boy phenomenon but she has soaked more outfits then I care to count and has even had a few streams come up and over the changing table! Guess she's very sensitive to the air.
