Outer thigh/hip pain?

Is this par for the course with pregnancy?

...Granted I've ben lying down a LOT on bedrest, but after a full night of lying on my side, my outer upper thighs/hips get this weird soreness that makes any position uncomfortable... Even with my full body pillow in position.

Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions?

Yep, par for the course. I didn't have it with my son until 30-something weeks, but this time it started much earlier, like 20 weeks or something. It's the worst when I'm in bed, so I'm constantly switching sides during the night.

Oh wow. I get this pain too. Usually around 5 in the morning my hips start to become sore from sleeping on my sides. (even with pillows) Glad to hear that it is normal. Not too much longer girls!

Oh god I get this too, the hips are the WORST! Feels like I rode horses all day long

OMG I get this too....glad I'm not the only one I am constantly switching sides througout the night and I find that if I do alot of walking it makes it worse.

Yup I have been getting also, not every night but some nights, my hip goes numb and I have to flip over!

I hate this so much!

I got it in the 30's with #1, but #2-3 happened by 13 weeks. It's been torture to sleep!
