Re: Registering
Buy Buy Baby has a registry checklist on their website that I found to be really helpful. I printed it out and my husband and I went through it together and decided what was not necessary and crossed it off. Then, we got the Consumer Reports Baby book and Baby Bargains and went through every product on the list and researched different types and decided what we wanted. Then, we went to the store to try out the major stuff and make sure we were comfortable with it, then we came home and did the whole registry online. That's my best advice! HTH!

Re: Registering
This web site has been invaluable to me. If you sign up for her newsletter (you get an email once a week and it's short and pretty helpful) you get a "registry cheat sheet". I took that to BBB with me and it was awesome! Tells you what to buy, what brands, and how many of each thing.
If you don't want to subscribe, FM me and I'll see if I can just email you the list.
