lost my mucus plug (or maybe just part of it)
last night, i was having a weird cramping pain on my left side that was on and off for about 2 hours. we timed it, but i got ready for bed and eventually fell asleep. but it hurt to lay on my left so i stayed on my right side for most of the night.
this morning i got up to get ready for work and when i went to the bathroom i had a big chunk of discharge and there was brown and red blood in it. so im guessing that was my mucus plug or just some of it?
how long after you lost your mp did you go into labor? i'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and im already 3cm.

With DS a little but came out Wednesday afternoon/evening. Looked like snot. The following morning i got up for work and it all came out in the toilet (bloody and nasty) and then my water broke. He was born the following afternoon.

yeah im at work. my co-workers are throwing a little party for me during lunch so i didnt want to miss it. but i've felt fine so far all morning. we'll see what happens!

sounds like you're close!!!
I lost mine in pieces over the course of 3 days and then went into labor!

I lost mine Wednesday night and had DS Sunday night. You are definitely close.

I am 38w 4d .. I lost some on Sunday - small clear piece and that was it since then!

I lost my MP @ 35 wks with both pg, but it regenerated and I lost it again at 37w5d, then my water broke the next day! I was also 3cm and 75% effaced at the time.
