2nd timers

Was your second go round any different from the first? If it was the same, was the sex the same, and vice versa...just curious. This pg is so far the same.

Re: 2nd timers

I'm having a text book great pregnancy so far no nausea no smell aversions only a little exhaustion. I feel great I'm just b!tchy but that's because I don't enjoy being pregnant. Lol I'm carrying exactly the same to my first dd. First go round I had every complication under the sun was deathly ill lost 22 lbs couldn't get out of bed then was on bed rest. So I thoughtgt this time I was having a boy but I was wrong I'm having another girl!

Re: 2nd timers

It has been the same for me. No morning sickness, no uncomfortable feelings, just a lot of kicking earlier this time. ( Or I just knew what to sense)

I'm more tired this time around but that's due to chasing my toddler around and WFT.

I'm having another Chat Icon

Re: 2nd timers

Pretty much similiar only a lot more tired this time around b/c I have a toddler I'm taking care of. DIdn't get sick for either pregnancy, pretty much gained the same 26 lbs with first and now I'm over 38 weeks pregnant and 26 lbs up too, all belly.
Although with DS I worked out till the end. This time I stopped at 20 weeks b/c I just couldn't do it. Was out of breathe. I'm also not as good about eating healthy and remembering to take my Vits.
I'm team Green so I don't know what I'm having even though everyone thinks boy again

Re: 2nd timers

I had a boy first time (but in the beginning I was pg with twins to 16 weeks - one was a girl). Had no morning sickness. Not overly tired.

This time, singleton girl, exhausted and morning sickness. Other than that, the same.

Re: 2nd timers

Mine is very different. I was naseaus the first time but this time I was sick all the time. Finally just about last week 14 weeks, it is slowly stopping. I still wake up naseaus every so often and strong smells can make me vomit. I am achy and tired this time, which I wansnt last time until the end. I feel like I am gaining more weight and in different places this time. I had a boy the first time, so I am hoping this means this baby is a girl!!

Re: 2nd timers

Both pregnancies have been different .

With DS#1 I wasn't really hungry at all, had more food aversions. I was extremely tired my 1st trimester but then got better my 2nd trimester. I had tons of belly cramping and round ligament pain late into my 2nd trimester, but for the most part was OK. I'd get sick

With is pregnancy...also a Chat Icon it's been totally different. I've been sick throughout the entire pregnancy, but I've also been absoluetely hungry ALL the time. Apparently now I'm getting nosebleeds with this pregnancy also and the belly cramping and body aches are a lot more.

Re: 2nd timers

Similar...

But I "popped" sooner this time...with DD it was ForEVER until I looked pregnant...now, at 5 months, it's pretty obvious.

I'm also swelling sooner...my feet have been awful the last few days. But likely that is the difference in timing...I was due in August last time, October this time.

And the kicks are different. I have an anterior placenta this time, so the kicks I feel are low....much lower than with DD.

Re: 2nd timers

This pregnancy is so much different than my first (in a good way). With DS I was so sick. I threw up almost the entire pregnancy. I felt gross and swore I would never get pregnant again...well 11 months later I am a liar and was pregnant again. This pregnancy has been completely different. Other than some nausea in the first trimester here and there that I was able to combat with eating and absolute exhaustion the first 12 weeks I feel great. I don't even know that I am pregnant except for my growing belly. It's a girl this time. I am not sure if that is the difference or not but different pregnancies=different genders for me!

Re: 2nd timers

I was definitely more sensitive to smells this time around. Things would make me gag but I never went further than that. I was much more swollen and very sensistive down there with my 1st pregnancy. I was so sore I could barely walk at times. This time around I can still wear my wedding rings and everything is pretty good in that area. DS#2 has been moving a lot more than DS#1. Another good thing is I didn’t gain as much as I did with my 1st. I’m probably burning more calories chasing after Xavier but I’m not hungry constantly or eat crazy portions like I did.

Re: 2nd timers

breezed through DD's pregnancy but this one, a boy, has been very complicated between bleeding issues, placenta previa, unexplained pains and discharge. Oh yeah and the urinary spasms because this boy is so large and cuddling with my bladder for so long Chat Icon, almost done though.
