Experiences with North Shore for sonos

I had my 12 wk sono there and no issues other than they forgot about me until I asked about 45 min. later.

I am having my 16 week sono there again this fri. I am pregnant with so my OB has me go every 4 weeks.

When I called we set up my 16 and 20 week appts. I can only go on Fridays (no work). I triple checked and wrote it all down. I am very good at keeping track of appts. etc.

I received a bunch of pre-approvals from my insurance. I called North Shore because I wanted to know which was for the 16 week and which was for the 20 week. I like to have everything noted. I left a message this morning at 9. No one called me back.

At 5:30 I get an automated message from them confirming my appt for tomorrow morning!!! Of course they are closed and I can't talk to anyone now. I am beyond annoyed now. My 20 week is July 22nd (a fri). Now I'm think maybe the girl mixed up the dates???

So now I have to call tomorrow morning. They better not give me a problem about putting me Friday morning!!! I just don't want them to say they're booked and I can't be squeezed in.

Anyone else have all these issues with them? Or am I the one with all the luck?

I have had horrible experiences with them. Personally I am to the point where I hate them. They have made me wait 2+ hours numerous times. They totally forgot about me once and then still took other people ahead of me. Thank God my doctor has a sono machine and can do them in the office now.

I see the north shore docs at Huntington for sonos and they suck - the way they schedule they are always behind - make sure to get early mornign appointments or after lunch - after 1

i had an 11 am appointment once and it was over 2 hour wait

as for the precertifications -they are very good at taking care of those - i am having twins and they have all been set before i go

I get a growth ultrasound every 2 weeks at Center for Prenatal Diagnosis and Testing at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset (3 Levitt Pavillion).

I have never had a problem with them. I am 29 weeks pregnant with triplets and have been going there since I was 12 weeks. I had my amniocentesis done there as well. People have been on point and very nice to me. In fact, I usually bring one extra person (sister-in-law, best-friend, mother-in-law, mother, daughter, etc.) besides my husband so they get to see the boys. I have also had the 3D done there.
I never wait for more than 10 minutes. My appointments are usually for Thursdays at 1pm or Wednesdays at 1pm. The ladies in the front have been very helpful and technicians have been wonderful!. I love it there I am so sorry you have had such a bad experience with them.

I've been going every 2 weeks to NSUH Manhasset 3 Levitt since I've been 12 weeks.. now I go every weeks..

I've only had issues with one tech, and when I go in I request NOT to have her. Apparently many people feel the same way about her. I definitely wait for an EXTENDED amount of time every appt.. but now I've just grown numb to it
