Wine
What does your doctor say about drinking wine? I've heard all different things, some say its ok to drink red wine and others say no wine at all.

Re: Wine
My doctor said a glass of wine a week is perfectly fine.
I have had a small glass here or there with tons of ice. I like a couple sips and then the desire usually passes.

Re: Wine
My doctors list of things to avoid was very short, but he def. said no to any alcohol.

Re: Wine
My Doctor said in the beginning no wine. I've been to the P.A. the last bunch of times and asked her about it now that I am 20 weeks. She had no issue with it.
I have no issue having a glass every now and then since I asked the Doctor if I could take something for sleeping and he told me Ambien. I figure if I can take that with his blessing, I can certainly have a wine!

Re: Wine
I've heard so many conflicting opinions...but IMO if I'm going to drink I'd like to get a bit tipsy and/or drunk so for me I've just avoided everything since I found out in November. With that said...I can't wait to pound down some margaritas when I pop her out

Re: Wine
My doctor told me everything in moderation and a glass of wine here and there wont hurt.
I have enjoyed my occasional glass of red.

I was prescribed Ambien as well..
My ob told me 1 glass a day was fine.. I drank on occasion but obviously not all the time or every day as he said I could lol
