First Time moms... does it seem surreal to you that we're going to be MOMS?!?

I mean... we're going to have a little BABY in the house!

I feel like I've been going through this pregnancy almost like planning my wedding. All excitement... yay, yay, yay! As if I'm planning for a big party... but I'm going to have a BABY to take care of!



It almost seems UNREAL... not just SURREAL.

Does anyone feel the same?

Yes. More and more lately because I started looking at things we need for the baby. Registering for things that could potentially harm the baby. How are we going to afford this being unemployed all the time? The panic is slowly seeping its way into me.

I think it still hasn't hit me. There's a person kicking around inside of me and it's SO insane! I'm getting more and more excited every day but it's still surreal!

I remember so vividly when I was pregnant with my son, the first time it totally felt REAL to me was at my shower. I remember so well, holding up each little tiny outfit that I got and looking at it thinking "There's is going to be a little teeny tiny PERSON inside this one day!" It's so crazy!!

I am so so so so excited!!!! I am not nervous at all about being a mom, I talk to her everyday when she moves and know we will have such a wonderful relationship. I feel like I am still so young sometimes, but yet I am 29 and going to be someones mom, and be called mom, and relied upon like no one has ever relied on me before, but that makes me feel great!!

I am nervous about the labor part though

Umm sometimes it does.. but mostly I live in a bubble of cloud. I don't think it's hit me yet. I still feel like it will be a WHILE before she's here... yet I'm having a C on June 29th!! Wonder if it will hit me that day!!!

I'm just anxious and tired of waiting. Once she's here I will probably be in shock thinking... OMG WHAT IS THIS BABY DOING HERE?? hahahahaha!! But I really just can't wait!!!

I will say my DH FREAKED me out when he said she will be 21 in the year 2032!! 2032??? OMG!!

yes! definitely feels surreal that i will be a mommy of 2 in a matter of a few months!

I still can't believe we're having a baby who is due to arrive in a little over 100 days

YES!!!! And I am beginning to slightly panic with everything that still needs to be done...but sooo excited!
