Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
I had a bugaboo cameleon and I used the car seat adapter (PP) for it to snap the infant seat in.
I see so many moms with the snap and go and that seems pretty easy

Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
You def want a snap and go.
To start when I had Jack I had: Snap and Go Graco Metrolite Maclaren for my lightweight stroller
I branched out from there with a bunch of other strollers.
I love my City Mini now though.

Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
We got a snap n go and a City Mini. Snap n Go is amazing because it's so light and easy to use and has a nice size storage basket. I saw no need for an additional stroller at that point. Since we finished using that, we've used the City Mini and it's all we need!

used a Graco system. Infant Carseat snapped into base that was buckled in car. Carseat also snapped into the stroller which I still use today.. 3.5 yrs later.

Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
Have a newborn and we have used the snugrider (graco's snap-n-go) like crazy. We also have the matching stroller for our graco snugride 30 car seat (B is for Bear mosaiac collection) but we haven't had to use it yet since we tend to use DH's car when we take the baby out.
The snugrider is very easy to open and close and lightweight. we're very happy with using a stroller frame over a full size stroller.

Infant seat and snap and go. Greatest thing ever. I found the travel systems too bulky.

Infant seat and snap and go 100%
We also have a Maclaren but did not start using it until DS was about 6 months.

chicco keyfit 30 infant seat & baby trend snap n go - used for the first 6 months when we went out (and first few weeks for walks).
city mini - used from 2 months old on long walks, etc and used exclusively after 6 months old... still using now at 2 yrs old.

Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
Graco Metrolite Stroller & the matching infant car seat with a snap & go. When he was a little older & out of the infant car seat, I got a light weight McClaren for my car. We used the Metrolite for longer days or when I knew DS would nap in the stroller.
He is 3 & my Graco Metrolite is still going strong!! Thing is indestructible!

Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
snap and go was the best thing ever. i was sad when she outgrew her infant car seat bc of the love i had for the snap and go. lol. we had the snugride (the reg one-she outgrew the height before the weight limit anyway) snap and go combi cosmo light weight and love the umbrella stroller

Re: Newbie with Infant seat and stroller/snap n go question
I had a Snap N Go, the Graco MetroLite stroller, and an umbrella stroller (still in the box 4 years later though )
I didn't want a Travel System because they seem really heavy & bulky to me.

ITA. The car seat is such a wonderful thing. I had the graco snugride, and kept DD in it until she was almost a year old. We used the graco snugrider frame - which is basically the same as the snap and go. Its lighter and easier to use than anything. Keeping the baby in the carseat is amazing if she falls asleep in in it you can bring her into the house, car, wherever... but if she's in the actual stroller you have to wake her up to move her.
