BTDT TMI question re: stitches

I am 5w pp and the area where i had stitches down there is sore again...I tried looking with a mirror but couldn't really see anything...could this just be the stitches disolving? I am about to schedule my 6w appt but trying to figure if something is wrong and i need to go sooner...can't figure out why i would feel irritated there now after so many weeks...

I had the exact same thing at my 6 week appt. Couldn't see any stitches left, but right where the stitches were was still burning when I peed, and certain sitting positions was irritating. When I went to the dr I believe he applied an rx solution (he said the tear was still open) to that particular spot. It burnt a little for the next day or so, but after that it was 100x better and healed-no more burning at all.
