Migraine Question

I was 37 weeks this Saturday and have been feeling great! I regularly get migraines and take Imitrex for them. Obviously, I can't take my migraine medicine while pregnant and I only have a few migraines in the beginning of the pregnancy and have been fine sine then.

I woke up last night around 3 a.m. with a headache and it has continued to worsen. I went to work today but only lasted about an hour b/c my head hurt and I started feeling really sick to my stomach. I got home and got sick. My stomach is feeling better but my head is still killing me. Do you think I should call the doctor about this? I don't want to be annoying and call over nothing especially since I do get migraines.

I would def call the dr. They may want to evaluate you to make sure its just a regular migraine vs. Preeclampsia. Good luck and feel better!

I get migraines (unfortunately they have gotten worse with pregnancy) and also used to take imitrex.

My dr told me drink some caffeine with Tylenol, which doesn't usually work. What sometimes helps is icing the back of my neck and rubbing vicks on the spots on my face that hurt.
