Registry Question...

Has anyone registered a little earlier than normal?

I have a feeling my family will do a shower in the summer, although I'm due in November, just because it's easier for family to make it. I didn't complete the registry, just added items I liked, with the small feeling they could discontinued soon.

Re: Registry Question...

is there any way you can ask whoever would be planning it if they think sooner than later so that you could be prepared?
i cant see why you cant register early. as long as you knwo what you want to register for then why not?

but i just got flamed on FB for saying i went to BRU with a gun today. it's like "geez, way to ruin my fun time and good mood".

Why on earth would you get flamed for registering? I found out the gender at a little under 18 weeks and registered that day. People are stupid, who cares what they say.Chat Icon

Re: Registry Question...

I am due in nov with twins. My shower is the first week in aug. It was easier for everyone to do it then. We are all registered and invitations go out on Monday. So no I see no problem with it.

Re: Registry Question...

i started my online registry right after I found out what we were having so that's 20 weeks. I just put some small things on there.

then about a month or so later I went to BRU and registered for real.

you should do it when you feel comfortable. who cares what others think. If you want to register... go right ahead and register in all your glory and happiness. if others want to have negativity... just ignore it... let it bounce right off you. screww em!!
