Mine are Chinese food and my in-laws (they are total slobs and it is really freaking me out).

Apparently dill pickles.
I have always loved them and had one yesterday and wanted to yack. I swore up and down it tasted like soap. I had DH try it and he ate it and thought it tasted fine.
