updos in nyc
Anyone know of a good place to go for a simple updo in Manhattan that doesn't cost an arm & a leg?
I have a wedding next week and would like to do something simple to put my hair up, but my hair person doesn't do updos.
any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Kelley! I've gotten updos at Dramatics NYC before, its cheaper than other salons---I'd call first but I remember getting one for around $50 a year or so ago?
The one on the UES by me closed but there is one on Third in the 80's.

That's actually where I go! haha. My lady doesn't do updos but maybe one of the other stylists do. I will ask. Thanks!!!

Funny! Yea, some of them definitely do updos, I just haven't gotten one done since the Dramatics near me closed. But yea, think its so much cheaper than most salons. GL!

I thunk bumble & bumble offers 3 or 4 really quick types of updos (like 20 minutes) in one if their salons. I can't remember which one, but definitely look at their website. They are affordable.

Oh! You can also go to the Bumble & Bumble counter at Bloomies--they are fast and cheap!
