those with bassinets in the bedroom..
do you have a small lamp or something for the nightly awakenings?
i was thinking that when the baby gets up in the middle of the night, how will i see? i plan on BF'ing and also if i have to do a diaper change how will i see what i am doing?
the bassinet has a little light but i odnt think it will be enough. will you or do you have a small lamp or something to give you some light without turning on the regular lights?

I have a lamp on my night stand... and it has a dimmer on it. you can buy an attachable lamp dimmer from Ikea. it's the greatest thing. so you don't have to have a bright light shinning... you can control how bright or dim you want it!
I have the FP sleeper next to my side of the bed.
ETA: link to dimmer (dimma) they have a black one too.
We have a few of these.

Yes, DH and i have a nightstand and a lamp on either side of the bed and the co-sleeper is right in front of the nightstand, i will probably drape something over the light so it's dimmer when it needs to be turned on though.

We had the same setup for DS. For me I wanted that light to be kind of bright so that it would keep me awake. I was always terrified of falling asleep while nursing DS!

I always left the tv on --on mute...and would read the closed captions to keep me awake and busy while I fed!

Re: those with bassinets in the bedroom..
We have highthats and there's one above each side of our beds with a dimmer next to the side of the bed that only has the spotlight on us. I use that.
