For those who take/have taken Indomethacin...
Did you have any side effects?
I took it for a week last week and I got a headache each day along with tingly fingers.
I was off of it Mon-Fri and had to start it again at 6am this morning. WOW... It hit me like a TON of bricks. Both my 6am and Noon doses made the ROOM spin for me. I had to close my eyes because of the dizziness and ended up falling asleep both times. I also have the tingly in my hands again.
I know I have to take it for the preterm labor, so my question is kind of a moot point, but I'm wondering if anyone else gets side effects from Indomethacin?

In the hospital they give small cup of milk of mag for stomach , when there I didn't have any side effects.
When I ad to finish my dose at home I didn't have milk of mag....took it without n felt lil sick like I was gonna throw up had too sleep to get past it. The next does hubby made me take small glass of milk with ech dose n didn't have any more side effects.
How long are they keeping u on it? How many weeks preg r u?.

I'm in my 31st week. I took it for a week the first time and was off it this past Mon - Fri. Now they have me on it again for just the weekend - probably every weekend.
It REALLY messed with me today. But then I ate more with my 6pm dose and felt MUCH better, so maybe I wasn't eating enough with the first two doses today. It was mostly dizziness and room spinning-type feeling AND some stomach cramps. Same with me... felt better when I fell asleep. Too bad I ended up having to sleep the day away to get past it!
