teething=low milk supply?
DD is 5 months and teething...this past week it has been awful! she has been waking up every 2-3 hrs, fussy and screaming all day and had a slight fever on Tues. I bought 3 diff kinds of teething stuff and using washclothes ect..
Since I have been up with her all night it is really taking a toll on me and in turn is effecting my supply. When I pump in the morning, I only get 4 oz where I used to get 7:(
has this happend to anyone? besides a zombie and on the verge of crying how long does this last????

Are you feeding her at night? That might be detracting from your morning pumping sessions too. Try to rest when you can, and drink more water. Teething sucks.

I'd think if it keeps up (which I hope for your sake it doesn't), your body will adjust again and you'll start producing more since DD is taking more. But like MrsD said, definitely try drinking more water. Maybe try one of that mother's milk tea?

Re: teething=low milk supply?
I had the same experience. My milk supply seems to hinder on the amount of sleep I get. When he was up all night teething, I wouldn't be as full in the morning... I still had enough to satisfy him, but I could tell that my supply had been affected. Now that he is STTN again, my body has adjusted. I agree with the other ladies.. try to rest as much as you can and drink lots of water! Also, when I got less sleep, I tended to eat less (weird, I know), but that definitely played a part in it, too. Make sure you are getting your calories!

I would say 4 nights or so... We had to do a CIO refresher once it was over bc when he was teething and in that much pain, I picked him up and rocked him each time. He's much better now but at yesterday's ped appt, he told me that his top 2 teeth are ready to come out...
