Help me decide which pattern of clothespins to get!

Indulge my latest obsession... I'll be using these for my baby shower.

My mom doesn't get why I want these... she thinks it a waste. I'm in love with them for some reason , so her opinion upset me and now I turn to you for help!

I don't know if I'm having a boy or girl, so I have to choose pinks AND blues and then my brother will e-mail the girl to tell her which to make.

For a BOY, for half of them I want to go with the first clothespins listed and she would paint the tips blue instead of pink. (my mom doesn't like the pattern... I love the pattern!) Do you think those are boyish enough? I would do the other half the blue polka dots (the third pattern from the left in the second picture)

For a GIRL, for half of them I would do the third picture (pink watercolor) and the other half either the third or fourth pattern from the left on the fourth picture.

What do you think? I know... such a trivial decision, but I'm bored.

1&2 for a boy with blue tips and 1&4 for a girl. I think this is a great idea and LOVE the pins, but then again I hang clothes out from the time the weather hits 50 in the Spring until it hits the 50's in the fall so it's a bit of an obsession of mine
