ugh!! this is so frustrating! toddler boys dress shoes VENT
I hate almost all of them. and the few that I don't hate, are over $60!!! not what I want to pay for basically a pair of disposable shoes (I don't see him wearing black dress shoes too often this summer.)
I tried zappos. I've been searching stores and online and ugh. and I went to Penney's and Sears and Target and their shoes look like PLASTIC. I just cannot buy them.
I found these...I don't love them but $40 I'd sorta pay...but do you think the sole is too thick

i can't do it.
luckily at christmas time, i ran into a wealthy friend of mine as i was heading to a 2nd hand store looking for loafers for him.
she told me to follow her home and i borrowed her son's pair.

i always get them at payless. they are not the best material.....def plastic-ey but i can't see spending more on shoes he will wear a few hours.
my DS' have both worn them and they are cute and old up good. i usually get a pair around the holidays for DS and they do the job.
my sister got married in june a few years ago so i knew for sure he would only be wearing them for one time and thats when i first bought them.

I just went with the plastic-y ones from Payless or Target. I didn't want to spend big $$ on shoes for just 1 or 2 occasions.

I have been searching for ones I don't hate as well. We have an event this weekend. I just said screw it and got him a nice pair of leather sandals from Striderite. I figure at least he will wear those again!

I always buy their dress shoes at Payless. They wear them once and that's it.

I always get lucky in Century 21 with the Timberland dressy shoes. Real leather, comfy and cheap.

I was able to get a really nice pair of loafers from primiggi. I have seen them on sale lately. I think it was at endless.com

I got the same shoes you posted(well identical looking) in Payless for $19. BRU also sometimes has nice loafers and dress shoes.

I refuse as well--I broke down and bought a semi-dressy pair from see kai run like these for a wedding, bc at least I knew I could put them with other things. These ones are $30. I just couldn't stand the plasticy ones and the nice ones were just way too much $$!!

Completely forgot I have to look for these for DS as well. He's the ring bearer in a wedding in 3 weeks. Looks like I should just get myself to payless if you already searched for something decent that isn't a complete waste of money.

I'm getting these and I can care less of how bad they are going to look with his little tux 
The quality is so good, and they are so soft. We own a few see kai run shoes and love them.

Kohls had both lace up and velcro black dress shoes a couple of weeks ago. Then they put them on clearance. I have a pair of the black velcro ones for DS. They are really nice looking and seem comfortable..
