Please tell me this is ok
I am 35w2d. 2 nights ago my mouth was bleeding a lot. I flossed after and got it to stop with cold water. They weren't tender or sore.
This morning i wake up with bad stomach cramping then go to brush my teeth and it's filled with dried and fresh blood. I didn't drink or brush my teeth yet-completely unprovoked. I was thinking the stomach cramps were from swallowing blood in my sleep...
Is this normal? I have no other bruising bleeding or disharge anywhere...

Re: Please tell me this is ok
Your gums get SUPER sensative when you are PG.
My dentist told me that he had "diagnosed" MANY a PG woman when THEY didnt know because of their gums.
So it SHOULD be normal, but Im NOT a doctor.

Just to be safe, I'd call your OB.

Re: Please tell me this is ok
I have had spontaneous gum bleeding as well. I was told it's just another side effect of pregnancy. Call your doctor though just to be safe.
