Itchy Bites from Gardening
DH & I were pulling weeds from his grandfather's overgrown gardens on Saturday and we both have lil itchy bites all over our arms and legs. They almost look like lil pimples.
My coworker thinks that they are flea bites.
If they are fleas in the garden - How can we get rid of them without harming his grandfather's dog?? And will bug repellant work next time we are gardening??

Re: Itchy Bites from Gardening
I was doing gardening this weekend and I have them too on one arm , I know, weird. I don't think they were from fleas though, I could be wrong. Many years ago stayed at my Aunt's house and she had a flea problem in the house with her cats, and this is not the little bites I got, what I have almost looks like a rash, on one spot on my arm.
I will put on some bug spray though next weekend.

This happened to me and my mom last year. She went to the dr and it was confirmed they were chigger bites.

Re: Itchy Bites from Gardening
Thanks! I have a physical on Thursday, so if the bites are still there, I'll ask the doc about them.
