Re: anterior placenta?
No....its not bad at all. It just means it attached in the front of the uterus, not the back. the only thing is that you might not feel as much movement and it might take longer for you to feel it b/c there is a "pillow" (that is how the tech explained it to me) between the baby and your stomach.

Re: anterior placenta?
I have it and it is what the PP said. But I was able to feel the baby starting at 20 weeks and now its non-stop! I was so worried I would never feel it, but it is totally fine!

I have it too, and I've felt flutters starting around 16 weeks....but they aren't as consistent as they were with DD...

Re: anterior placenta?
i had it with DS. I actually didn't even know though until the very end of my pregnancy. Explained why I didn't feel him move until 24 weeks!

Re: anterior placenta?
it's not bad.
but the movements can become an issue. I felt movements very late and DH coudln't feel them for a long time either.
Also, the few movements i would feel were not consistent and days would go by with no movements for me. This is what landed me in L&D where I found out about the anterior placenta. I had a feeling that was the issue prior to going there actually... thanks to girls on this board. Even still now at 36 weeks... the movements aren't crazy. And since I have GD I have weekly nonstress tests... on those tests there are movements we can hear and I still cannot feel at all. For me... I can only feel movements when she's moving around the outer parts of the placenta or perhaps if she's going nuts in there.
As far as there being complications or anything like that... it's totally fine. It just gets hard because I used to think something was wrong and I couldn't tell when that was the case or not bc I can't feel movements. So it would play mind games on me.
