HPT and hormones

This probably sounds dumb but not totally sure how it all works and looking for continued hope that all is okay while I wait for my first doc apt on the 15th.

So last weekend I tested 5 times (2 digital, 3 dollar tree) The dollar tree test all came out positive after a minute or more and very very very faint. Today, 5 days later, I continue to have pregnancy symptoms, with some concerns (other post re-light spotting- which sounds normal but still worried me earlier)and I just tested again, late in day not morning urine, you know, dollar tree test and this time it showed positive result immediately and was a very dark line.

Does this mean that the pregnancy is progressing and the baby is growing as it should? Or is this dollar tree test just from a better batch than the 3 used last weekend?

I would assume that if the line was darker- you have more hcg in your system. If it will help ease your mind, perhaps ask your doc for a blood test next week so you don't have to wait til the 15th for a sono, etc.
