Mine is AWFUL too!!! A,most to the point of throwing up. Has been most of this pregnancy. Much much worse than with DD and she was born with alot of hair. Im dreaming of a monkey baby..LOL!!!
Luckily, it is a wives tale. My sister had it BAD and her baby was totally bald!

Re: Heartburn
I am 100% dependent on Tums to get me through my day. I've had heartburn my whole pregnancy but it has been so bad the past couple of weeks. I feel like sometimes I am going to throw up hot air - if that makes sense.
I was flipping out too bc I read on the TUMS container you are not supposed to exceed 10 in a 24 hour period and I think I have been doing that. I found that chewing some gum helps a little.

Re: Heartburn
With DD, once I hit 36 weeks, I called my OB practically in tears, begging him for something besides Tums because they weren't working anymore. He told me to take Zantac...I can't tell you what a help that was.
This time....I'm only 18 weeks (19 on Sunday) and it's BAD already....I keep joking this baby had better come out with a full head of hair!!!

Definitely be careful, it causes constipation (which is already sometimes an issue). I had impacted bowels from too many tums (sorry TMI)...after that I took metamucil everyday. I find chewing gum helps a lot.
