Italy Tours
I have never been to Italy and am thinking about doing a guided tour. can anyone recommend a company and a particular tour?
i have used brendan tours in Ireland and had a great experience and would totally use them again. But i wanted to see if there were some others that were better suited for italy

Re: Italy Tours
Perillo or Globus. I've done both. Perillo is definitely more upscale (and more $$$). Globus was just as informative but the hotels weren't as nice (therefore it was A LOT cheaper).

Re: Italy Tours
I did a Trafalgar 12 day in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Amalfi/Capri.
It was the best trip I ever took in my life!
They keep you hopping though! But you would never be able to see that much on your own, you get to skip all the lines, etc.

Re: Italy Tours
I did a Contiki a few years ago and unless you are in your 20's I would suggest going with Trafalgar instead. A friend of mine did the same tour but with Trafalgar and LOVED it. Don't get me wrong, we had a good time but there was a lot of drinking that went on that made the bus rides horrible the next morning with all of the people who were either still drunk or hungover.
We're looking in to a tour for France and we'll probably go with Trafalgar.
