AC question

We need an additional AC installed in the house. The nursery is at the back of the house. It is more aesthetically pleasing to put the AC back there as opposed to the front bedroom where the AC will stick out on the side of the house but towards the front.

I realize aesthetics are not the most important thing but the house is going on the market next spring.

Would you install an AC in the baby's room? I'm afraid of doing that. Is it too much cold air blowing in there? Wherever we do install the AC, it would cover an area of a couple of the bedrooms.

Re: AC question

We just installed a small a/c unit in the baby's room. good thing because according to the groegg without the a/c on it was 77 in there last night! Much too hot for the baby.

I'm not sure I would put a large unit in there that was meant to cool multiple rooms though, in order for the those other rooms to get to a comfortable temperature it might be too cold in the nursery.

Re: AC question

We just bought a unit yesterday. I will be nursing in her room, and might try to put her in the crib right away, so I can't be in there with her without AC. We got a 7800 btu unit, but will obviously not turn it all the way up.
