SPF 110

I just discovered Banana Boat sunblock with SPF 110. I didn't know it went that high...does anyone use it? I don't want to get burned when we go to Mexico, but I DO want at least a little tan...will it completely block out all sun?

I read somewhere (Good Housekeeping maybe, or a similar mag) that the level of protection you get after SPF 30 is very minimal. I'll see if it's posted online.

I would think that's like wearing a long sleeve shirt and a pair of pants. Chat Icon

I heard the same years ago. I use SPF 30. I use 30-50 for DS.

But it used to be that I never tanned with SPF 30 and now I do. DS does not tan with SPF50.

Re: SPF 110

I was on medicine last year that required me to have no sun exposure. The doctor recommended SPF 70.
