I was 8 days late and only a fingertip up until the night of my first contraction. Hang in there, it's the WORST, I can't lie!!!!!

I hear ya!!! OMG, I can't imagine 9 days though! 
And you're not the only one who is calling it she/her! So many people refer to it as she. I think THAT is the anxiety part of all this. Being late is one thing. Being late and not knowing what it is is a whole other story!

I was one cm all the way until 5 days late when they induced me...and they said my cervix was "hard as steel" when i got there and they checked me 
hang in there! the baby will come when they are ready
