NT Scan Question ***UPDATE**
Tomorrow I have my NT scan. I was wondering how long it can take. My Dr. told me it could be 2 hours for twins. I am a patient of Dr. O'Keefe's and the scan is at another location. Do you know if I get results right away from the location or my dr. would need to give them to me.
UPDATE!! The scan was about 30 minutes and it was amazing. The sono tech showed me so much and was really a nice girl. She said everything looked perfect in the sono. I have to wait a week to get the blood test results. The babies were moving so much. My DH couldn't make it so my mom came and she really loved seeing them too. She was amazed how different sonograms are now.

Re: NT Scan Question
Mine was 45 minutes for one baby the first time I had it done. I was 11 weeks and change and they just couldn't get one of the measurements, so I had to go back the following week. That appointment was a bit quicker, but still long.
Mine was done at my high risk office and they gave me the preliminary results right away, but had to wait for the bloodwork to come back for the final results.

Re: NT Scan Question
I only have one in there, but the sono itself took under 10 minutes. More like 7 or 8. I'd had my blood taken the week before so those results were already in, and I met with the doctor to go over those numbers and the NT scan measurements. All in all, I was in the office for maybe 25 minutes - half an hour.
Good luck!

Re: NT Scan Question
i just had mine on Tues. the wait was about 30 min and the sono took about 15 min (singleton). then i went straight over to the lab for blood work. that was really quick, less than 10 min.

Re: NT Scan Question
I have twins and I would say mine took about 45 minutes. They told me right that that all the measurements looked normal, but they also do blood work so you have to wait a week or so to get the official results.
