The cookie dough Zone Bar
I'm a big fan of the Zone Protein Bars. I usually have 1 for breakfast and then another one later in the day as a snack. I just found this new cookie dough flavored one and got a box. I've been eating one almost everyday for like 2 weeks now and only now have I stopped to think "Wait a minute!!" I never considered it 'real' cookie dough because it's not a candy bar, but rather a healthier protein bar for people on the Zone diet. But now I wonder if maybe it does have raw eggs in it. I don't know how I would tell.
You think I should just do away with them since I'm breastfeeding?

Hmmm- what do the ingrediants say? I would think it's probably pastuerized or cooked. I can't imagine them having raw eggs in it, kwim?

You can't pass it on through breastmilk? That's good news.
Well in the ingredients, the only Egg thing I'm seeing is "Pasteurized Whole Egg Powder" so I guess that means it's ok. I hope so because it is YUMMMMYY!!! Esp for somebody, like me, who's trying to eat healthy & lose babyweight but while still having a treat in the day.
