swollen feet-should I call the dr?
I know it's normal to have some swelling but my feet are so gross today....like twice their normal size.
I have a dr appt tomorrow afternoon....do I just bring it up then or should I call now?

Re: swollen feet-should I call the dr?
When I went to the doctors yesterday, I asked about my swollen feet and ankles. My OB and high risk doctor didn't seem concerned. They said it's going to happen when you're so close to the end and there is not much that I can do about it.

I was told the same thing. I can't even wear shoes that are a whole size bigger than usual. Today I tried so hard to stuff my feet into shoes that are bigger and by mid day I was back in my flip flops.

Re: swollen feet-should I call the dr?
my swollen feet were a sign of preeclampsia. but it wasnt that alone - there was also protein in my urine and a noticeable weight gain from my previous appointment. if you have an appointment soon i would just wait. swollen feet alone are probably nothing to worry about - only if its combined with other symptoms would it signify a problem. if you dont have an appointment for a few weeks i might consider calling (and im one of those people that NEVER calls the doctor unless i really think its an issue).

Re: swollen feet-should I call the dr?
my feet have been swollen for a long time now, everytime i mention it to the dr they say its normal. (my blood pressure is always good)
i think if you have blood pressure issues, and protien in your urine there would be some reason to worry.

My feet and ankles have been swollen for weeks. My dr is aware and said that it is normal. I wouldn't worry. It can't hurt to mention it but just try to elevate your feet and increase your water intake.
