Do you have to pay for Jones Beach Parking yet?
Did that start in April or does it start this weekend? I'm thinking of taking my kids to the playground this morning.

my mom was there yesterday and she said no parking fees yet. HTP.. Have fun enjoy the weather

I went this weekend and paid 8 dollars. Signs do say they are collecting fees. Just no life guards yet.

i believe (and i may be wrong) that they are collecting on the weekends only. I got slammed with $8 parking last weekend but had gone during the week and did not get charged. The woman at the booth said they started collecting the first weekend in April...I made the jump that they were charging only on the weekends leading up to memorial day weekend. HTH

I'm pretty sure they started collecting on weekends sometime in April. Not sure when weekday fees come into effect though.
