Is it OK...
... to wear white sandals to a wedding? I'm thinking it's fine, but just want to double check. I know you could wear blue, purple, or even silver, but when I look at this dress I see cute white strappy sandals. The shoes the model is wearing just don't go!

I think white is fine but I know what you mean. I had a dress that I usually wear white pumps with, but I wore pink instead just to be safe. I really don't like the purple shoes, but blue or silver could work, too!

now I have a dress almost the same colors / print as that and I prefer to wear black w/it. I feel as though the white is too bright.

Me too. Not a fan of white sandals. I think a metallic would be much nicer.
