Yes. My cousin was ejected from the backseat in an accident many years ago. She was extremely lucky, because they were riding in a convertible. The back window was plastic. She broke a few bones. So I always buckle up in the back.

Yes - my twin brother almost died in an accident 10 years ago because he wasn't wearing his in the backseat  Thankfully he's ok & we both always wear our seatbelts now

I am never really in the backseat but if I am then I don't 99% of the time BUT there have been times that I am literally scared to death of the way the driver is driving (like in a NYC cab) so then I do.

I almost never sit in the backseat of the car because I get really bad motion sickness...the last time I was in the back seat was in September. When I'm in the back, no I don't wear a seat belt. It makes me feel even sicker when I do. Yes, I know that's an awful excuse, but like I said, I rarely sit in the back anyway.

I carpool to work with 2 other girls. My one friend sat in the back of the car and the driver said 'put ur seatbelt on". The girl in the back stated she never does...and to be honest sometimes I do and sometimes I dont. bad i know..

ALways. And I wont start the car til my passengers do too. My friend was ejected from the backseat in high school and struck a telephone pole. He died instantly and it still haunts me, even though I wasn't even there.

Me too! I always wear my seatbelt no matter if it's the front or the back. I even would put my seatbelt on when squished in between 2 car seats in our old car. 
I actually feel like I am going to fall out of my seat when I don't have a seat belt on!

If you do not wear for your safety, wear it for driver and passenger safety. A good friend of mine (NYPD) was in my back seat on our way to AC. He snapped on his belt and i was surprised. he said i am wearing it for you as well because if i am not buckled in and we crash ill crash right into you (from the back seat) think about that!

No, I don't.
The seatbelt law came into effect when I was about 10 or so.. I never felt unsafe in the backseat not wearing one.

Of course! I'm surprised anyone wouldn't. Putting on my belt is an instinct; I close the car door and in the same movement reach for the belt without even thinking about it.
