Birthing Ball
Where can I get one of those big balls you sit on that are supposed to help labor...are they the same as the ones from a Sporting Goods store?
ETA: Has anyone used one, do they help??

Re: Birthing Ball
Dicks Sporting Goods sells them. I tried one at my childbirth class and loved it. Just don't fully inflate it. I regret not buying one.

Re: Birthing Ball
I got one at TJ Maxx and it was less than $10. I tested positive for strep B and had to go to the hospital when my water broke and i brought the ball. It helped tremendously before I got the epidural to ease some of the pain. It was a great relief. I threw it out after I had the baby.

Re: Birthing Ball
They are the same as the exercise balls- the ball was the only thing that releived my pain during DS's birth- I didn't get off until I was pushing.

Re: Birthing Ball
Curious if this is similiar to a yoga ball? I have a yoga ball and was wondering if I just let some air out can I just use this instead?
