I like shopping in the riverhead tanger outlets and in manhasset's miracle mile.
You can go to the beaches.
You can do the wineries.
There is golfing.
You can go to the riverhead aquarium, or the aviation museum, or the botanical gardens.

Town of Oyster Bay has a nice golf course.
Teddy Roosevelt's House is also in Oyster Bay.
I would look to see if there are any decorator showhouses when you will be on Long Island as well.
