OK, explain this to me like Im an idiot
Im 8 weeks today.
Therefore Im IN my 9th week, and then 2 months pregnant, but IN my 3rd month now? Correct?
So when I go, lets say, on baby2see.com to check the week by week development....do I check week at since thats the week I just finished, or do I follow week 9 since thats the week I just started?

when i look at week by week development i go by the week i just started....so if you just started week 9 then I would look at week 9.

If you just finished 8 weeks, I would go by that - I would follow week 9 when I had completed my 9th week.
As for months, that I go by date. If my LMP was May 1st, June 1st I'd be one month, July 1st I'd be 2 months, and so on.
Not everyone does it that way but that's what made the most sense and worked for me.

This is my 3rd-I am much more casual about the whole thing.
I'm 18 weeks this week. I have no idea how many days, I just change my week on MOndays
As for months, I say 4, 4.5. When we click over to June I'll start saying 5 months.
