Nervous

So I'm 19 wks today. At this point I with DS I had started feeling more internal taps along with the butterflies/flutters in my belly. With this pregnancy I haven't really felt this DC very much. Every once in a blue I feel the butterflies/flutters but not the taps.

I thought with a 2nd pregnancy you're supposed to feel everything earlier, which is making me nervous. I have my Level II next Monday when I'm 20 wks. I'm hoping everything is OK. I guess I'm just being a worry wart.

Have BTDT moms expecting 2+ felt their LO's sooner?

Re: Nervous

I felt DD (#2) later - about 2 weeks later than I did with DS (#1). It freaked me out too, but keep in mind it could also be the position of the placenta that affects how much you feel this one Chat Icon

Re: Nervous

I also felt #1 sooner and stronger...i have it written down that at 19 wks i was able to feel DD(first) if i had my hand on my belly...i will be 17 wks tomorrow and hardly feel anything with this one...yesterday i had an appt and heard the heartbeat so that helped alot.

Re: Nervous

Not a BTDT, but my SIL always commented on how her second DS was not nearly as active as her first. She said on many occasions that he hardly moved around.

Re: Nervous

Remember that it also depends on the location of the placenta I believe. I'm sure everything is just fine! Chat Icon

Re: Nervous

Thanks ladies!!! I guess I'm just nervous. Even though this is DC#2 I sometimes get moments of I hope everything is OK and not feeling him/her as much just was making me nervous.
