Are these Braxton Hicks?

Trying not to freak out but as a first time prego I don't know what these are!! I'm 25 w and today I've been having moderate lower back pain and some mild AF like cramps on and off. Are these what BH's feel like?? Should I call my Dr? I have a work event tonight and I'm not sure I should go now

Have you been drinking alot of water? I get those period type AF cramps when I havent drank enough water or if I am overdoing the activity..courtesy of my 15 month old!

Braxton Hicks are a tightening of your stomach, not so much painful.

Call your dr if you want to be sure.

When I was getting lower back pain and cramping, I called and they said it was probably round ligament pain/stretching. They said to wear a maternity belt. I do sometimes and it does help a bit.

Call just to make sure though.

I think BH are a tightening, but I'm not sure.

BH contractions tend to feel like a tightening across your belly. Many times you can feel your stomach get hard for a little bit and then subside.

If you are having more localized pain that is in the back and cramping, call the doc to ensure it's not a possible UTI or bladder infection.
