Seriously DH???!!!

Hes being an unbelievable BEAR about names. I literally just finished reading through FIVE HUNDRED boys names and he said no to ALL of them. No just no though, a scrunch your face up, thats the worst name Ive ever heard, I wont even consider it kind of no. Of course he had NO suggestions.

I think its bc he loves the name Patrick and Im not a fan at all so bc I nixed the ONE name he suggested, hes being a big baby about it.

Oh and for the record, he got to pick DS name, since he is named AFTER him.

That was unbearably frustrating. Hes so stubborn! This is going to be a nightmare.

Anyone else having this issue?

I could of written this myself. Ive picked out quite a number of boys names and DH said no to all of them. Of course when I ask him what he likes he has absolutely no names. Oh wait, except for one..he likes Mark...which is the name of my ex boyfriend!!!! I swear, sometimes I want to

Boys names are definitely difficult. Oddly enough, "bear" was on his short list.

My friend had this problem. She and dh sat down and chose 5 names each. They were allowed to eliminate 3from the other persons list. After that they had to chose from the four remaining names.

Boys name are giving us trouble. Girls names we had it picked...but it's a boy

My DH is very sensitive to others opinions so we are going the keep it to ourselves route (I am really bad at that... ) we shall see....

Im sure it would have gone this way but we decided before we knew the sex that I could name it if it was a girl and he could name it if it was a boy (within reason). We are having a so he won.

Next time around, I win, no matter the sex!

Uggghh DH. WE've agreed on the girls name (which I picked out) - Alexandra (possbile middle name of Rae)

But boys... He wants a Jr. or at least the same first name and that's it and I do not do "Jrs". I've picked Andrew Jay (Jay being DH's name, sorta -> Jason, but everyone calls him Jay).

He doesn't realize this yet but, DUH, I ALWAYS GET MY WAY! So dense!

we had a similar situation...from the begining we both liked the name chase...but as my pregnacy progressed i kinda fell in love with luke, and chase wasnt my #1 anymore...

went crazy with him trying to change it all together so we are both happy.

i think he was just being subourn because he liked the name Luke too! just wanted to make it like it was his choice!

we are going with Luke if its a boy! lol

DH and I always have a hard time with names.

dh vetoes almost every name i say. he does it in a joking way so it makes me laugh at the same time he drives me crazy. i am like ok if you don't like any names I am saying, then come up with some of your own suggestions!

Same thing here! Im 35 weeks and we still have no name. He hates all my names and I hate his. We have one or two that we are both "ok" with but I want to LOVE the name..We agree on tons of girl names of course- this is a BOY!! Also we have all boys on both sides so all the "good" names are taken- so frustrating

Good to know Im not alone here! Luckily, we have plenty of time. At some point he is going to have to consider SOMETHING....you cant nix every boys name. And I like the idea of me picking bc he got to name DS after him, LOL!

I'm getting this from my DH on girls' names. We have decided on a boy's name, which means of course that the baby will be a girl.

My DH nixed just about EVERY name I came up with because it "doesn't go" with our last name

We have finally agreed on a boy's name, but if we have a girl, I think we'll be lucky if she has a name by the time we leave the hospital!

That's my DH too!

It's never "No I don't like that."
Every stinkin time it's "WHAT?! UGH! Where do you get that from? That is the worst name ever. NO WAY!" Followed by a vomiting sound. He's mature like that. I got that response for not only different names like Nathaniel but for Nicholas and Lauren and his own name too.

I'm pretty sure my child's name is going to be "Baby"

That was exactly us with boys name, though we agreed instantly on a girls name...turns out we are having a ...so the boys name feud is off until the next pregnancy...lol!

we had this problem for #2. I finally gave in at the hospital. The name does fit our little guy though now that he's grown into it.

We had this prob with our first and will be having again if this one's a boy too! DH likes NONE of the names I pick out, BUT will hardly give me any suggs for boy's names that he likes so we're at a standstill.

I remember the second night in the hospital I just had DS and already did all the pprk for the birth certificate and DH calls me at 2 am that he wants to change the name SERIOUSLY!!! I was soooo ******, by than I put my foot down and said no, you can't change his name its too late!
